This category of membership
is open to all persons who have at least one ancestor
who arrived in the Province, now the State, of South
Australia, on or before 31 December 1845. |

Associate
Members |
|
|
|
|
|
This category of membership
is open to spouses of Pioneer Members and spouses
of deceased persons who were, or would have been,
eligible to be Pioneer Members. |

Life Members |
|
|
|
|
| |
This category of membership
is open to Pioneer Members or persons eligible
to be Pioneer Members. |
|
|
|
|
| |
Junior Pioneer Members |
|
|
|
|
| |
This category of membership
is open to persons under the age of 18 years who
have at least one ancestor who arrived in the Province,
now the State, of South Australia, on or before
31 December 1845 and are sponsored by a Pioneer
Member or Associate Member. |

Pioneer Members &

| |
Pioneer Members receive
the Association’s quarterly journal “The
Pioneer”; are entitled to attend social functions
held by the Association including the Annual Dinner,
the Proclamation Day Luncheon, excursions, lectures,
tours and workshops; are eligible to nominate for
the Association’s Council; and are eligible
to vote in any Association election or General Meeting. |

Associate Members receive

The objectives of Junior
Pioneer membership are to encourage children, from
an early age: · to be aware that
they are descendent from the Pioneers of South Australia
· to learn about the life and times
of their Pioneer ancestors, and · to
take an interest in the establishment of the Province,
now the State, of South Australia.
|
|
|
|
|
| |
Junior Pioneers receive
a special membership certificate, are invited to
participate in special Junior Pioneer events held
by the Association and are encouraged to become
Pioneer Members upon attaining the age of 18 years. |

Joining Fees & Annual Subscriptions |
|
| |
A joining fee
of $10 applies to any new Pioneer, Associate or
Life membership. |
|
|
|
|
| |
Annual subscriptions are
renewable on 30 June. For the year ending 30 June
2005, the Council has set the following subscriptions:
